History of Wenrich Associates 

Founded in May of 1953 by Robert C. Wenrich, Sr., CPCU. 
The office was originally located at 208 North 6th Street in
Reading.  In 1956 Wenrich Associates Inc. relocated to
Penn Avenue in West Reading.

In June of 1960 Charles F. Wenrich, CIC joined his father
in the insurance business, at which time the location was 
438 Penn Avenue.  In 1982 the agency moved to newly
renovated 436 Penn Avenue where it remained until 1991.
1984 brought the addition of Charles' daughter,
Teresa M. Wenrich, to the agency.  When Wenrich Associates 
moved in 1991 to Berkshire Boulevard in Wyomissing Robert
retired at the age of 77.

In October of 2008 Wenrich Associates moved back to
436 Penn Avenue.   Charles and Teresa
(now Teresa Wenrich Kutz) were joined at this time by
Wendy A. Fuller, a licensed agent specializing in personal
lines insurance, originally from Delaware County.

During our 55 plus years in business
Wenrich Associates Inc. 
has served many local companies and generations of area
families.  Our current staff represents over 75 years experience
in the insurance industry and  we look forward to continuing to
serve our clients for many years to come.
